Long night of the living dead - a perspective
Life gets busier and busier as my royal duties multiply. I have so many areas of my life that need attending to and it gets awfully crazy. You don’t have to be royal to relate. But, in my case, there’s the fanfare of patriotic parades….
People of great importance and their christenings….
Glamorous fashion shows where they bare it all….
…..and drafty castle openings…
…..and THOSE tend to get SUPER hectic. Not to mention personal duties, yadda yadda yadda. Sometimes it all seems too overwhelming and hectic, especially for a newbie princess like myself. I often feel like a Whirling Dervish.
( Is that a protected class? No offense is intended. Just a good visual.)
At those times, to calm myself down, I try to remind myself that I’ll have plenty of time to sleep when I’m dead.
Which often helps, as a good perspective. Ceptin’, then I get to thinking. What happens if I still have insomnia?
