OH BOY! This time of year I REALLY DREAM BIG. The 2011 Neiman Marcus Christmas book is out. But don’t get me started. LET’S GET STARTED!!!!
What am I talking about? The 85th edition of N.M.’s annual “let me light my money on fire” catalog. This is the WISH LIST OF ALL WISH LISTS. About half the items are under $250, but THAT stuff’s all waste not want not, as in WANT NOT!!! Here are the ones that count. As in Count, Prince, King.
This year, I’m not jonesing for the most expensive item:
HIS & HER make-em-dance fountains from WET for a wet willy million. (WET is the creme de la creme of state-of-the-art fountain fabulousity.) No, I’m not all washed up. I just don’t have enough towels.
NOR shall I choose the $250,000 Hacker-Craft Speed boat that’s on it’s high horse High Output 425-horsepower engine. That was a tough choice, see’n as it’s got a monogrammed humidor.
NOR the Assoline Custom-Built Library for a cool $125, 000.
Just what I need. More ass.
NOR the Day Trip to Stone Barns Farm for $9,500 that you can bring six friends to.
I don’t have six friends.
NOR the Ferrari FF for a $395,000
It didn’t come in pink. And it doesn’t have a humidor. For that money, sheesh!
NOR did I opt for theTom Burr Table -Tennis Table for $45,000.
What a racquet.
NOR the International Flower Show for $420,000. Even thought they fly you by Gulfstream Jet to a Geneva , then Athens, the Avignon, then Chelsea.
Allergies.
NOR the Johnnie Walker Private Scotch Tasting for a steal of $5,000.
THIS one they wanted you to bring TWENTY friends to. I didn’t have enough for the Farm trip!
NO…..MY NUMBER ONE CHOICE THIS YEAR FROM THE DREAM CATALOG IS….
A YURT!
That’s right, a $75,000 yurt. But not just any yurt. A PURPLE yurt! This has I Dream of Jeannie all over it. A princess could cozy up in this baby and dream big. Real big. Soooo what about you, princess? WHAT’S ON YOUR POSH LIST THIS SEASON?
